Chicken Madras

Chicken Madras

I usually mix my own spices to make a curry and Hub is a fan of the Madras. But while I was trying to buy the whole of the little Marks and Spencer in Bayswater on my last trip to London (and was limited no thanks to my meagre baggage allowance), I saw these little jars of curry pastes that looked really interesting and bought 2 of them : Madras and Balti. This evening, I opened the Madras and must say that I'm impressed by its spicyness and beautiful oily red colour. Made a Chicken Madras with half of it, adding a few touches of my own.


The English are very lucky, not only do they have curry houses in every corner of the street, they also have Marks and Spencer.
