Honey and Spice Pork

Honey and Spice Pork

As a follow-up to my Da Chang Jin obsession, I've decided to make a dish with all the ingredients cooked separately and then assembled together before serving like one often sees in the show. One of the simplest I could think of at the moment was a Honey and Spice Pork. So voilà.

Pork (the tender lomo thinly sliced)
Honey
Ginger
Garlic
Sugar
5 Spice Powder
Ground Paprika
Star Anise
Light Soy Sauce
Sesame Oil
Corn Starch
Chives
Dry Sherry
Salt and Pepper
Grilled Zucchini
Grilled Red Peppers
Grilled Red Onions
Slightly pan-fried Iceberg Cabbage
Omelette (everything to be finely sliced)

It's actually a good way to eat the dish as you can control better the cuisson of your vegetables. And it will work one's understanding on how to compose and decompose a dish. I'm going to keep working on the subject.

SIG a dit…

Wow, haha. I don't know why but korean shows always inspire us when it comes to food preparation.

East Meets West Kitchen a dit…

Love that combination and can't wait to see more of your creations.
