Come the end of October in these parts, one looks forward to having one's kids invited to LP's Halloween party. Always an event, always organised with lots of love and attention to detail.
This year (as usual), I told the Babies that I wouldn't buy them a costume just for the party and that they'd have to make do with whatever we had. So Baby Girl had to be a Fairy Godmother and Baby Boy a King of Skeletons of some sort. Didn't have face paint so had to improvise with water and baby powder plus my own make-up.
It rained unfortunately, so poor LP had to have the party entirely indoors. But she was prepared for that, of course, and carried it out beautifully. The Babies had lots of fun and I was quite impressed with them - there were lots of sweets and chocolates hanging around everywhere but they refused to take with them more than what they had been given. I wasn't so disciplined though. Gobbled down 3 pieces of cake and only managed to resist having a chocolate muffin...
Happy Halloween!
Awww that's a gorgeous gown. Love the lace. They look awesome. We had nothing here this year so sad.
