Ginger & Coriander Cauliflower

Got a pack of Chana Dal on offer from one of my last visits to the Indian store and needing to make space in my pantry, decided to make some Chana Dal with Potatoes and a bit of leftover Lentils Verts du Puy.

Chana Dal, Potatoes & Lentil Verts du Puy

Then I also had to get rid of a head of cauliflower in the fridge so made some Ginger and Fresh Coriander Cauliflower.

Quick Lime & Yoghurt Cake

Last but not least, felt like grating something so made a Quick Lime and Yoghurt Cake.

A few farty days if I may say so.

  3. Hi Cheryl, thanks for visiting.

Took the chance to read your website and boy, are you one beautiful and intelligent girl! Had a ball admiring you in your gorgeous dresses/clothes, you have a very extensive wardrobe, envy envy...

Noticed too that you left NUS the year I graduated (I did PS and EU). And that you had a Literature prize in Secondary school like I did :-). Though smart of you to take up the NUS scholarship, I accepted the PSC one and got broke breaking bond.

There are lots of Swedish people in my kids' school, Tetra Pak is an important company here.

As for food, you know, away from Singapore, have to make do, if I don't cook I'll end up eating pasta and pizza everyday. Blegh!

  4. Ah, Cheryl, one more thing, being the kaypo Ah Soh I am now, are you going to settle down soon dear beauty?

How many more years to go before you finish your PhD? I was 3 years away from finishing mine when I gave it up to be a wife and mother. Until now, when I see my former schoolmates flying in their careers, I want to hide in a corner and cry...But then, it's great fun cleaning backsides all day long too.
